Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine & Surgery.
• Registration by Clinical Officers’ Council.
• Valid practice license from Clinical Officers’ Council.
• Significant experience of teaching at least 2 years.
• Mentorship qualities.
• Experience in clinical work.
• Team player, High level of motivation, Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills.

Pharmacist Position

Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate
will play a vital role in dispensing medications accurately, providing patient education, and
collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of medications.
• Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Manage and maintain medication inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient
care.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Participate in the development and implementation of hospital policies related to
pharmaceutical care.
• Educate patients and hospital staff on drug safety, usage, and management.

Qualifications:
• Education: A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Bsc.Pharm) from a recognized
institution.
• Licensure: Valid pharmacist license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.
• Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting is preferred
but not mandatory.
• Skills:
o Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
o Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and software
