General Outpatient Department
The KAH Outpatient Department (OPD) runs daily. The clinic is run by a team of qualified Medical and Clinical Officers who assess patients prior to laboratory or radiology investigations.
Our outpatient team is well equipped with professional skills, expertise and experience to diagnose, treat and refer for admission. Services offered in our outpatient clinic include MCH, MOPC, SOPC, and OBGYN Clinic.
Maternal Child Health Clinic
The KAH Maternal Child Health Clinic provides preventive, promotive, and curative services for the whole family. We are committed to enhancing the health of mothers and children below 18 years. Services offered by the MCH Clinic include:
- – Antenatal care
- – ART therapy/counseling for HIV positive mothers
- – Prevention of maternal to child transmission of HIV (PMTCT)
- – Postnatal care and education
- – Family planning services
- – Immunizations
- – Mosquito net Distribution
MOPC: Medical Outpatient Clinic
The Medical Outpatient Clinic evaluates communicable and noncommunicable diseases. We have physician consultants and officers who review and follow up on patients, treating various diseases such as: diabetes, hypertension, stroke, heart failure, obesity, digestive disorders, chronic kidney disease, arthritis, mental health disorders, COPD, asthma, and many other medical illnesses.
SOPC: Surgical Outpatient Clinic

The Surgical Clinic is the route through which all non-emergency surgical procedures are booked. The clinic is run by a team of well- trained surgical consultants and officers who review patients prior to and after surgery. It is through the SOPC clinic that our patients are given surgery dates and review dates.
OB/GYN Clinic
The OB/GYN Clinic is run by a team of well trained consultants and officers who review patients and provide the following services:
- – Booking for elective CS
- – Fertility clinic
- – Cervical cancer screening
- – Colposcopy
- – Hysterectomy
- – Fibroid removal
- – Removal of adnexal masses and tubal ligation
