Projects

Building the next century of care.

Two projects sit on the hospital’s list: a new outpatient and emergency center, and an oxygen plant.

Outpatient and Emergency Center

A new home for clinics and emergency care

Hospital leadership chose a new emergency department, outpatient clinic, and administrative offices as the next major building on the campus. A master plan completed in February 2024 sets the building at three storeys and about 4,410 square metres.

Patient areas are planned around a central courtyard, so the rooms get daylight and natural ventilation. The same plan covers construction documents and tender to local contractors.

Storeys, because the site is limited.

Square metres in the published plan.

What the building holds

Emergency department, outpatient clinic, and administrative offices.

Oxygen Plant

Medical oxygen on the campus

An oxygen plant is one of the hospital’s projects, so the wards and emergency care can draw medical oxygen produced on site.
