Kendu Adventist Hospital joined the global community in commemorating Clubfoot Walk Day with a special event held in Rangwe Dispensary. The walk aimed to raise awareness about clubfoot, a congenital condition that, if left untreated, can lead to disability.
During the event, participants spread a clear message: clubfoot is treatable. Parents and guardians were encouraged to seek early intervention, which significantly improves outcomes through non-surgical methods such as the Ponseti method.
The event brought together healthcare workers, families, and community leaders, all united in the mission to ensure that every child born with clubfoot receives timely and effective treatment.
From February 17th to 21st, 2025, Kendu Adventist Hospital, in collaboration with AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, successfully hosted a Free Medical & Surgical Camp, providing life-changing healthcare services to the community. This initiative brought together a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver specialized medical care, surgical interventions, and essential health services—all at no cost to patients.
